Hi, my names Kevin and I¡¦m from the UK. I have about 15 years of teaching experience in Europe and Asia, in which time I have taught all ages and levels of student, from beginners aged 6 to advanced learners aged 60. I also have roughly four years of experience training English Language teachers, mainly for International examining institutions, and at University lecturer level.

My own personal teaching philosophy is that a successful teacher is one that understands his or her students, and a successful lesson is one that has a clear aim that meets the students¡¦ needs. In this course, we shall be looking at how to meet these needs with specific focuses on speaking, reading writing and listening, as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

The course does have theory, and it is useful, but the main focus of the course is practice. You will be introduced to a whole range of in-class activities. You will get the opportunity to observe experienced teachers including myself. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver your own class under my guidance.

In short, I cannot recommend this course enough. Whether you are a new teacher looking gain a solid foundation, or an experienced teacher looking for improvements or new ideas, this is the course for you.
